In Ancient Greece, archē refers to the origin: the first principle from which form and meaning emerge.
For Archē Studios, this concept is not theoretical. It reflects a personal way of working shaped by a background in product development, material research, and hands-on making.

Design does not begin by filling space, but by understanding it. Each object is developed by returning to the essentials: proportion, structure, and purpose. Furniture is approached as a quiet anchor within a space, providing stability, presence, and balance rather than visual noise.

Pure Materials

The work of Archē Studios exists between raw strength and refined restraint. This balance is rooted in a long-standing fascination with materials and how they behave over time.

Only pure and honest materials are used: solid wood, forged steel, and natural stone. Their character, weight, and imperfections are not corrected or hidden, but embraced as part of the design. No artificial layers. No synthetic shortcuts. Each material defines the object from the inside out.
